I deeply admire anyone who takes the step toward caring for their mental health. Starting therapy can feel intimidating and overwhelming at times. However, I truly believe it can be a meaningful and rewarding experience for anyone. My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. If you choose to invite me on this journey with you, I will meet you with warmth, respect, and a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting your unique needs.
I have experience working with individuals facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and school or career stress. I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and adults, and I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are. In my work, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness therapy, art therapy, and play therapy. I’m always open to learning and integrating new approaches to best support the people I work with.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and hold a master’s degree in Social Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University. I also have bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and English from Indiana University Bloomington. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me reading, spending time with friends and family, watching TV, sipping coffee, or relaxing with my cat.
