As a therapist, I approach my work with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to growth. I look forward to working collaboratively with clients as we navigate life’s challenges together. I prioritize using a holistic, person-centered approach in sessions that honors each individual’s unique experiences. I work primarily with teens and adults through a cognitive behavioral (CBT) lens, while also integrating techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and internal family systems (IFS). I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with suicidal thoughts and behaviors, as well as providing harm reduction support for self harm. I am passionate about working with those dealing with severe mental illness, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and interpersonal concerns. I advocate for integrative care through collaboration with medical, school, and/or other mental health professionals to best support the client.
I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from BSU with minors in American Sign Language, Human Development, and Counseling. I went on to receive my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from BSU as well. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, watching TV, thrifting, and hanging out with friends, family, and my cat.
